Fort Worth City Commission Considering Transgender Bathroom Policy

The City of Fort Worth Human Relations Commission recently met and approved meeting minutes from an August 4, 2016 meeting that state the following:

Commissioner Luft would like to review the ordinance on bathroom policy for transgender individuals.

The Human Relations Commission is a commission appointed by the Fort Worth City Council.  It acts with the authority and support of the taxpayer-funded City government.  In fact, the website for the Human Relations Commission states, “Members are considered to be officers of the City of Fort Worth.
